March Fitness Challenge

OMG, this challenge is killing me! March Fitness Challenge Week 3 is done! One more week and we will be done with this dang challenge.

I realized I forgot to post the actual challenge in last week post, so I’ve posted that below.

Now lets get to the good stuff. This weeks exercise regime and calorie intake.

Saturday 3/15

I have had a knot in my left shoulder for a couple days so I took it easy with my workout today. 20 minutes of lite yoga.

Goal – 1266

Calorie Intake – 1228

Under – 38 :)

Sunday 3/16

Today the fam bam and I took Cassie for a 3.5 mile walk. Which earned me 440 extra calories for the day. YAY! I also did 1 round of the challenge.

Goal – 1640

Calorie Intake – 1262

Under – 378 :)

Monday 3/17

So far today is my favorite day of this week. Yes it’s only Monday but when you have awesome clients like I do they start your week right. Because I was with clients all day I didn’t have time to exercise and to be honest I was so tired by the time I got home, all I did was sit and surf the internet.

Goal-1200

Calorie Intake – 1067

Under – 133

I don’t know if this is something that happens to all hairstylists, but on days that I am really busy I lose my appetite and barely eat all day. I know this isn’t good, and I try to remember to eat but sometimes the day gets away from me.

Tuesday 3/18

OK, lets get one thing clear Jillian Micheals is a bad ass bitch! Today I did her 6 pack in 6 weeks level 1 video. It’s a 30 minute high intensity ab work out. And boy does it kick you butt! I will definitely be sore tomorrow. I also did 2 rounds of the challenge.

Goal – 1514

Calorie Intake – 1082

Under – 432

Another day of just not being hungry.

Wednesday 3/19

Ouch! Didn’t I say I would be sore today? And I am. So today I took a rest day.

Goal – 1200

Calorie Intake -1274

Over – 74 :(

Damn Ben for making chocolate chip cookies today!

Thursday 3/20

So I was still pretty sore today from the Jillian Michaels workout on Tuesday. So I though yoga would be the way to go. And then I thought ‘oh I know lets do the Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown, how hard could it be?’ Let’s just say I don’t think I’m any less sore now than I was before I did the video. I didn’t realize it was going to be so fast paced. I also did 2 rounds of the challenge.

Goal – 1498

Calorie Intake – 1249

Under – 249

Friday 3/21

Today was another day of being busy with a client during my normal lunch time, and by the time I made it home it was time for dinner. We ended up going to this great little place here in Eugene called Billy Mac’s. Everything is as fresh as possible and bought as locally as possible. So yummy! Best Fries in town too.

Goal – 1200

Calorie Intake – 1080

Under – 120

I really did try to get all of my calories in today, but was shy 120. :(

So there you have it. March Fitness Challenge Week 3 done. One more week to go and I can forget this challenge ever happened…lol.
